Mike Killington

Mike is an occupational therapist who brings with him highly developed clinical skills in the areas of ageing, complex case management, physical disability, neurological intervention, injury management, manual handling consultancy and palliative care. Mike has an interest in the development of emerging and established clinicians through the development and delivery of a wide range of clinical education materials. He has a strong relationship with the student unit of the University of South Australia’s school of Occupational Therapy, having been a clinical educator for many final year OT students. Mike has extensive experience delivering Aboriginal health services in the primary care setting.

During his previous role with a leading community ageing service provider, he was a member of the occupational therapy clinical leadership group and was responsible for the development of best practice guidelines, clinical frameworks and clinical competencies measures for a group of over 60 occupational therapists. In more recent years Mike has been the manager of clinical services for a multidisciplinary team in a private practice setting.
